Charles M. Zarzecki received his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1983. He earned a Masters of Laws in Taxation (LLM) with Honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1996.

Charles M. Zarzecki has an active estate planning and wealth preservation practice that includes the preparation of wills and trusts, gift trusts, insurance trusts, special needs trusts, grantor trusts, family limited partnerships and other devices that help clients achieve their financial goals in the most tax efficient manner and protect their assets for retirement and the next generation. He also handles estate and trust administration, along with federal estate tax return preparation.

Mr. Zarzecki also represents businesses, many of them family owned, seeking his services to organize as limited liability companies, corporations or partnerships. He also helps with choice of business entity, leasing issues and offers transactional advice on real estate purchases and sales, tax-deferred like-kind exchanges, asset sales, acquisitions and loans. He advises on succession plans for closely held and family held businesses.

Charles M. Zarzecki is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the South Suburban Bar Association, the South Suburban Estate Planning Council and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association. In addition, Mr. Zarzecki has served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Sutherland School Local School Council and is active in community affairs affecting the 19th Ward.
